Wanna Lose Some More WEIGHT? Have Diet Drinks


Diet drinks made people lose an average of 13lb over 12 weeks.
While a water-only routine helped lose just 9lb, as per findings of U.S. researchers.
Diet drinkers were able to cut-back on hunger and showed lower levels of bad cholesterol.

As per a study: By simply drinking water alone will not solve weight issues – combine it with having soft drinks.

A research juxtaposed drinking water with drinks such as Coke Zero and Diet Pepsi – scientists discovered that people were able to cut-back on their hunger and lost weight by sticking to diet drinks.
The study, funded by the American Beverage Association, repudiates the earlier claims that drinking diet fizzy drinks promote weight gain and sugar cravings.
Study revealed that by having diet beverages subjects lost an average of 13lb, while those in the control group, who had water alone, lost just 9lb.
James Hill, executive director of the University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center who co-authored the research, said: ”The revealings of this study have clearly pin-pointed that diet beverages can in truth help people lose weight.”
303 people participated in the 12 week clinical study, which will soon be published in the journal Obesity.
People who participated were divided into 2 groups, while they retained similar exercise and eating habits throughout the three months.
The ‘diet fizzy’ drinks group felt less hunger pangs and showed lower levels of low-density lipoprotein, a type of ‘bad’ cholesterol.

After 12 weeks as many as 64% people from the diet drinks group ended-up losing 5% of their body weight against 43% people from the ‘water only’ control group who were able to lose the same 5% of their body weight.
The diet drinks group ended up cutting-back their risks of heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes.
